We surely hope that you're enjoying some beautiful weather on this LONG weekend...we sure are!! Wherever you are, whatever you're doing...hoping that there are plenty of smiles around! Relaxing...getting active...getting something done that you've been "meaning to get around to".  We've had a lot of that going on this weekend and are looking forward to more! 

Last weekend of snowboarding, batting practice at the cages, family movie night have been on this agenda...but of course settling in for some monogrammed gifts making! We couldn't go a whole weekend without that, now could we? Way too many occasions coming up that call for monogrammed gifts!  Spring pictures,  baby showers, wedding showers and more...we're busier than ever!

Spring is Near!!

Sun shining: check. Snow melting: check. Temps rising: check.  We aren't exactly where we want to be just yet, but we're getting closer...and we're getting excited!  Why? Well, this winter was pretty rough here at monogrammedeverything...lots of ice and snow!  We're so ready to break out the new monogrammed clogs, the adorable monogrammed umbrellas...and everything else that spells spring!

Spring 2011 Fashion Trends!

Yay, a spring focused blog...we love these! Especially because we're staring out at snow at the moment! But seriously ladies, we've begun to do our Spring Trends research and here's a sneak peak!

Now, for what we're really super excited about....Spring Trends 2011 Footwear

1. CLOGS....and you know we have monogrammed clogs

We can tell that monogrammed clogs are the "it" item for this coming season because the orders are rolling in.  The best part about our monogrammed clogs? They are 100% designed by you and reflect that awesome personality of yours!

Spring personified in a palette, the colors that make up this Spring 2011 color trend are mostly named after flowers: iris, viola, daffodil, poppy, and geranium.  Love, love, loving spring this year....hurry up and get here!

"Watching the Superbowl"

Game was on, people over. Having a blast...but really caring that much about the game? Not that much...totally having a blast admiring my spread though...my fav item today?? Not monogrammed gifts, for once LOL

Ingredients

3 tablespoons Butter

1 (10 oz) package marshmallows (I prefer the small ones but you can use large)
5 cups Cocoa Rice Krispie cereal
White frosting


Directions
In microwave proof bowl, melt butter. Add marshmallows, microwave until melted. I would recommend setting microwave for 1 minute increments. Test marshmallows after each minute. Don't scorch them!! Grease a large bowl with butter-otherwise the mixture will stick to the sides.  Add cocoa krispies. Pour butter/marshmallow mixture over the top of the rice cereal. Stir completely & let cool slightly.  Use buttered hands to shape the rice krispie mixture into mini footballs. Make the footballs about 3" long. This makes 16-24 depending on how large you make them.

Decorate each football by piping white icing on them for stitches and strings. I use a small Ziploc bag as an icing piping bag. To do this, you fill the bottom of the bag with the icing. Snip a small hole in the bottom corner and squeeze the icing out of this hole. Easy and less mess.

 And what are the laces?? Just green onion cut up....how cute are those?!  We do love the Super Bowl and/or any other reason to throw a party and on party days we love cute food...a little more than monogrammed gifts :) On a super awesome day, we serve cute food on monogrammed dishes!!

Spring is upon us...okay, not really upon us quite yet (please stop snowing!!!). It is right around the corner though, which hopefully means there are lots and lots of baby showers coming.
