Ok, so I'm watching TV this morning...something that I never do! The Today Show featured a professional dance today who had been criticized after a performance for her weight. Not much into the world of ballet but was thinking that the story would be about her being too skinny....but NO, it was actually because her shape was too "womanly". What is this world coming to? First of all, this woman was incredibly thin! Secondly, since when did being a woman or looking like one become a bad thing? I was all geared up to make some monogrammed gifts this morning...but now I'm just plain appalled and not in the mood to create! Nothing a little blogging can't cure though...back to work now! I realize that the world of professional dancers is a lot different than us regular folks...but this interview was an eye opener. If this is "womanly" then I must be obese! Ugh!
Here's to eating as many sugar plums as we want....and for this being a photo of a very slim woman!

Gifts for Her!
For the next few weeks, we will be focusing on the hottest gifts for certain groups....starting with, gifts for her! Gifts for "big her" as well as "little her". Starting with the adult group, what is she looking for this year? Well, pretty much anything personalized for starters...depends on the gal! Very rarely can you go wrong with jewelry, throw a monogram on it and you've got the perfect gift for that special lady! But...maybe your lady isn't into jewelry? Hmmm, well how about personalized kitchen items, personalized candles, tote bags? Anything with her monogram is sure to bring smiles! Perhaps a relaxing trip to the spa, a manicure or pedicure, a massage! These are all sure to please as well...sometimes just some time "off" is a great gift!
How about those younger ladies...the teen ladies! Monogrammed headbands, laptop cases, cell phone skins anyone? Again at this age, the monogram is HOT! I guess the monograms being timeless thing really has a ring to it? Gifts for her = gifts with monogram!
Happy Shopping!

To Re-Gift or Not to Re-Gift....
That is the question! It's that time of year again...gifts galore! Is re-gifting a practice that you participate in, does someone always get you a gift that makes you think "what were you thinking"? You likely do, what does one do with that gift? Many will pass it along to someone else. Sometimes said people make sure it's appropriate to the recipient, others....not so much. Some simply donate or maybe even throw away.
Where do you fall in the re-gifting spectrum?
When you live in the land of personalized and monogrammed gifts, it's easy to tell where we fall in the spectrum, right? How can you possibly re-gift monogrammed gifts? And why would you ever give anything other than monogrammed gifts? To each his own though!! Happy 3rd day of December...just 21 more shopping days to go!
